Really good food, but some items weren't available (annoyingly, only found out when we tried to order them ☹️)

Atmosphere was a little quiet, but it was the end of a Sunday, so not the busiest time, music volume was perfect though, enough to hear & cover conversation, but not so loud you have to shout!

Terrible quality food for such a lovely venue!

The venue itself was so lovely but the quality of the food was shocking. Came here for my mums birthday, ordered wagyu burgers which tasted like Birds Eye freezer burgers, the steaks were awful, the French dipping baguette came with watery gravy. The food took forever to come and when it came we were so disappointed. Flavourless and shocking quality.

For the price you pay, it’s really not worth it

Went here for the first time today with the hubby for Sunday roast, and we absolutely loved it! 😍

The food was delicious, the portions were really generous, and the service and atmosphere were great. I also loved the decor — such a lovely place!

Me and my friends have just eaten here before our trip to Comic Con and we were in heaven. The staff our really polite and friendly, the food is excellent, especially the pizza. Definitely will be going here again!

Rolling Mill has never let me down. Corporate meetings, casual meetups and date night, I can always trust this place. Kelly is the shining star here. Her customer service, attention to detail and overall pleasant nature is a great asset to this business (management, you need to promote this woman).

Way too overpriced. I had the fish burger, there was way too much going on, it had no harmony or balance. The fish was small so I assume they use the toppings to make the burger bugger. For £20 I also expect more than 11 chips. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating but the food is not up to par and for the price you can get double the amount and better quality elsewhere.

Avoid this place. We were incorrectly charged £35 for a bottle of Prosecco during bottomless brunch. As glasses of Prosecco are included, and many venues simply serve a bottle when four people are drinking, we asked if we could have one. We were told it would cost extra, so we immediately declined and said, “We’ll just have four glasses instead.” Despite that, they brought us a bottle anyway and then charged us £35 for it. The mistake was entirely theirs, yet the manager refused to take any responsibility or resolve the issue. I also sent a formal complaint afterwards, which they completely ignored. Poor customer service from start to finish. There are far better bottomless brunch venues that actually value their customers.

We visited Rolling Mill Birmingham for the bottomless brunch and unfortunately left really disappointed.

The biggest issue was the service. It took around an hour between drinks, which completely defeats the point of a bottomless brunch. We spent more time waiting than actually enjoying the experience. We even started ordering the same drink for the whole group to try and speed things up, but it made very little difference.

On top of that, our food orders were incorrect, which added to the delays and frustration. The staff were polite, but the service simply wasn’t efficient enough to cope with a bottomless brunch.

Overall, the food was let down by the extremely slow drinks service and order mistakes. A bottomless brunch should feel relaxed and enjoyable, not like you’re constantly waiting for your next drink. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or recommend it based on this experience.

NOT DOG FRIENDLY! I’d been trying to phone them since 9am for Sunday roast / lunch as advertised on their website only to be told they don’t actually open till midday!! I told them to amend their website to be told they are looking into it! Some family atmosphere if you don’t allow our furry family member!! Very disappointed, but nothings going to change!!

We came for late afternoon lunch for my father in laws birthday and we were served by a lovely lady called Kelly. She couldn’t do enough for us, she was really friendly and even lit the candle on the Ice cream twice as we hadn’t videoed the blowing of the candle. She was so attentive and had a great banter. The food was lovely and we had a great afternoon. Highly recommend this place

We have been here for large family meals (16+ guests) a couple of times now and are never disappointed! The food is gorgeous and the staff are very kind and helpful. I would however recommend avoiding sitting under the skylight at midday on a sunny day if you run hot as we were all sweltering! Other than that it’s a great place with a lovely vibe and food/drinks. Will definitely be back for our next function.

Came here on Saturday for lunch. Have been here before.

We hadn’t booked a table, but there was one available for us. Would recommend booking ahead when visiting.

I opted for the spicy fried chicken burger. Was a pleasant meal. Service was friendly.

Delicious food, everyone was very complimentary about their menu choices. Lovely restaurant and attentive staff. Quite the TARDIS as it's huge once you go through the back. Lots of steps so might be an issue with those with mobility issues but the front part of the restaurant is pretty flat and accessible. It's a great place to meet up with friends and they can also easily cater for large groups, we were a party of 10 and we just rocked up for late lunch without booking.

Awesome place!

It’s a very nice place that I have visited many times, both for food and for relaxation, as it’s ideal for unwinding. I ordered the steak again, which I had tried in the past and found undercooked and not particularly tasty. This time, however, the cooking and presentation were clearly improved, and it was much more enjoyable.

It seems the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and strives to improve. I will definitely visit again.

The place looks quite plain from the outside but inside is big and pretty. There was so much staff and yet no one was at the entrance even tho you have to wait to be seated, you have to beg for getting the bill and even more for them to come with the machine. Quite disappointing.
The food was good and drinks too. Solid choice but not my favourite

Honestly had such a good experience at The Rolling Mill tonight.
The vibe of the place is sooo beautiful, warm lights, nice music, and the décor is just perfect.
Food was amazing. The chicken with rice was full of flavour, the burger was juicy, and all the drinks were really fresh and tasty.

The staff were super friendly as well, and everything came really fast.
Overall, I loved it and definitely going back again ❤️🔥

Wonderful pub just 5 mins walk from the metro stop at Jewellery Quarter. Gorgeous decor with a warm and friendly vibe. Food was excellent and we tried the butter chicken fries, margarita pizza, chicken lollipops and the pork belly bites, no complaints only compliments from all our party.
Would we recommend and go there again?? Simple answer “Absolutely YES!” 😋
We visited on a Wednesday afternoon with no booking required but I think it would be best to book a table on weekends to avoid disappointment.

Very nice restaurant. We first thought that the food would just be a little expensive but it turned out to just be very massive portions. The food was tasty, except for the salad we ordered which was way too spicy which wasn’t specified in the menu.
All in all the staff were very competent and the atmosphere was amazing.

Place looked nice from the photos and walked over 30mins from my accomodation to try this place. They have a deal on Tuesday’s for 2 for 1 burgers which was my sole purpose for visiting. I called before making the trip over to ensure they were serving and the offer wasn’t outdated. Because I was on my own they would not serve me this offer!! I’m hungry, feed me...totally ridiculous. I walked straight out.

Came for a quick bite the food was amazing although I had the calamari which was chewy I didn’t let it bring the rest down!

Awesome food. Approx 5 minutes walk from Jewellery Quarter train station. It was recommended to us by the repair guy in A&A jewellery repair. So glad we listened to his advice. We went Thursday lunch around 1pm it was pretty quite. It was slightly disconcerting at first as the sports bar was empty but then we could see people further in so we ventured forth. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress called Kelly and seated quickly. We were left alone with just the right amount of time to order. We chose Coke Zero and a Cherry Pop Mocktail, it was delicious. To eat we shared a meat feast pizza, Cajun fries and triple cooked chips topped with shredded roast chicken and gravy. Everything was piping hot and absolutely delicious. All served in a good amount of time. The pizza was fresh out of the pizza oven next to where we sat smelled and tasted amazing. The Cajun seasoning was the perfect heat and flavour for me. (Would have been too spicy for my mom who would struggle with anything but salt and vinegar). The star was the triple cooked chips topped with chicken and gravy. I could eat it for days. Chips were beautifully soft and the chicken tasted perfect. We spent just under £50 which included a service charge, if that kind of thing bothers you, personally as long as it doesn't take the piss I don't care. Means I don't need to stress about appropriate tips. Would 100% recommend, cannot wait to return.

TLDR: great tasting food, a tad expensive for tight wads, but worth every penny to me

Came here because it was recommended by the staff of the hotel I'm staying at.
The food is tasty and the portions are very good for the price.
The servers are attentive and helpful.
I only had breakfast but I will for sure be coming back to try the pizza, sunday roast or one of those delicious looking cocktails.

We looked for somewhere to have lunch today whilst in the jewellery quarter and the reviews were good. Service was excellent from everyone we encountered especially Kelly,our server. I was a little emotional when I arrived and she was a sweetheart going above and beyond one her approach to me.
Good menu and good gluten free choices. I had the pork belly (small plate) which was so delicious and no fat with fries and my husband had the Schnitzel Bagel with fries. Excellent quality, taste and service. We had a cranberry juice and a beer and the bill came to around £46.
Toilets very clean and service excellent. The interior is also beautiful.Will definitely be back.

A lovely find in the Jewellery Quarter! Our first here and loved the atmosphere and service (special thanks to Kelly for looking after us, and the Manager for helping us with my dad's wheelchair access).

Food was fab - it's not often you find a place that can make a proper, original Veggie burger. Amazing!

1st time visiting this place, looked like a small restaurant when you first walk in and then the further you go in it just gets bigger and bigger. Staff were all very polite and accommodating and the food we ordered was very satisfying and huge portions. Will definitely recommend and visit again when in the UK

I left a detailed review on Trip advisor. Just wanna give a big shout out to Kelly. A massive credit to the team. Looked after a party of 17 at last minutes notice and did it with a smile. She even sung happy birthday when bringing a cake out. I appreciate good service and would return just for her. Food was ok. Pricey for what it is but I guess you are paying for the atmosphere and vibes too. Food was hot and served on time and cocktails were good. Would return.
