We LOVED the food. After visiting Thailand I never really enjoyed Thai food elsewhere but this restaurant has amazing food, just like in Thailand. Great variety of dishes and drinks, everything is very flavoursome.

Fantastic Food, Brilliant Service – But Where Was Duran Duran? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited before the Duran Duran concert, and the restaurant was absolutely packed! Despite how busy it was, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. A special mention to Libbie, who was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, attentive and professional, even with a full restaurant. A real credit to the team! However, one little message to the owner: You knew Duran Duran were playing that evening, so why on planey earth were you playing anything other than Duran Duran music? Rather a notorious ommision! Surely, with a restaurant full of concertgoers, playing some Duran Duran classics would have created a fantastic atmosphere and really got everyone in the mood for the evening! A missed opportunity, but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great food, great service and we would happily return. Next time, please put some Duran Duran on! 🎶

Food was excellent, lots of options and our lovely server Ananda talked us through his recommendations and let us add kore coconut milk to a spicy curry so we could enjoy it! Ananda went above and beyond, noticing one of us drank alcohol free drinks, and at the end bought us over a complimentary peachy drink each, and made sure one was non alcoholic! An extra touch which was sweet, and made us feel really looked after and listened to! Would absolutely recommend coming here to anyone!

Went as a group of 3 without a reservation, was able to be seated after a short wait which was very impressive on a Saturday evening. Food was lovely and mocktails were really nice!! Absolutely fabulous! Attention to our group was amazing! I’ve been before but this visit was extra special as introduced 4 members of my family of have never been to this restaurant or bottomless brunch and they had a blast. If Libby is your server consider yourself blessed, she is nothing short of amazing. Can’t wait to come again…. Food, drinks, server and atmosphere 11/10… pricing is great too

It was a lovely time we had the sharing platter as a starter. Beautiful decor. We had to keep calling on waiter and waitress to ask to out order in to ask for drinks…. Very busy low on staff and only one staff was really friendly and kept a smile on her face the whole time we were there. Hubby enjoyed it as it’s his first time there but u must say it’s definitely missing the manager who use to be there as he brought a lot to the overall experience

The heaters were awesome! That must be why starters cost over £10. The staff were nice. I bet the chats they were having with each other by the till were entertaining. They seemed to get on well when I went to collect our menus after 20 minutes of waiting. Unfortunately the kitchen seems to have lost the salad or any other ingredients that provide flavour bless them. I was entertaned by the table in front of us who fined and ditched during the half an hour we waited for someone to collect the bill.

Attentive staff. Best Thai food I've had in a while. Fantastic flavours with the Pad Thai and Green Curry. Well worth the price. And if you are veggie like me, the crispy sweet and sour Mock Chicken Balls are the closest to the real thing I've had so far. So good we ordered the side again 😄

The main disappointment with Siamais was entirely based in its food. The servers were friendly and accommodating, everything was brought out in a timely manner, but at the end of the day, the food was just disappointing. That would be more forgivable if this was more French cuisine. But this is Thai food. Thai food is, by default, fantastic. So, to pay the amount we paid for something that tasted pretty meh, is just a real let down.

Between the servers and food you can't go wrong. They are very attentive and work hard to keep the public happy. When I first came I was wondering, but noticed they were working on their other stuff since it was not busy. My favorite is the Sweet Corn Soup and the Pork skewers and Veggie Fried Rice. I order the Skewers with the Rice and then cut up the pork from the Skewers into the fried rice. I also order the Beef in Oyster sauce and mixed the rice with it. All I can say the flavors were delicious and what I expected. As someone who grew up on Chinese food, these were great flavors.

Had a really fantastic evening at Siamais Birmingham. The atmosphere was lively, welcoming and had a great energy that made the whole experience feel good. The food was absolutely banging, full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with care. The standout dish for me was the Lamb Panang; the lamb was cooked perfectly, tender and packed with incredible Thai flavours. The whole selection of food we tried was amazing, and there was so much more on the menu that I’m looking forward to coming back and exploring. The drinks were also a great addition and helped make the evening even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made it a really fun family evening. We all had a brilliant time and the family had a proper kicking evening together. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

I booked a table on the First table app and went to Siamais on my birthday with my friend. The table for two was too small because we ordered 2 starters and 2 mains, one was shared starter which was put in a huge plate, so I asked a waitress if we could move to a bigger table because we actually wanted to order more and have food at the same time (more contexts: it was 5.30 pm and the restaurant was not that busy, I could see lots of available tables next to my seat) but the waitress didn’t get back to us, even when we left she didn’t mention or say sorry to us. Besides, my friend ordered a curry and a waiter (not the one welcomed us) put it on the table aggressively and my friend was so shocked by that bad attitude. We did not know if we did anything wrong so we had to receive those negative things especially on my bday? This was not the first time I have been there, and this is the first time I have booked a table on First table, I am not sure if it’s the reason for them to get mad at me, and from now I will never go back again.

Great food that tasted superb! This was me and my partners first meal out after her having a baby so she took a while to pick something. Server seemed a little annoyed and the server changed and she was more upbeat and less annoyed. A big group of people were sat next to us in an empty restaurant too which was unfortunate as they were a little rowdy.

When ordering my main, I picked from the grilled section which is a pricier section of the menu and listed as a main. I ordered the charcoal king prawns with Thai sauce which was £25 and said it came with salad. It arrived and I got 3 prawns with a couple leaves. I also ordered a side of coconut rice which was more filling than the prawns themselves. My friends got a cheaper meal of £16-19 and got a full portion with rice and vegetables.

The food was lovely, hot and good sized portions. We ordered starters and mains, although I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the starter which was the spicy beef meatballs. I had lamb massamam for main which was really tasty. The restaurant is beautiful inside and our server was really friendly. We booked on First Table and so got 50% off our food bill. I have been here before for the bottomless brunch and was impressed with the food then. Would definitely recommend.

Came here to celebrate my graduation and our anniversary, and honestly it couldn’t have been more perfect. We started off with the starters. The pork ribs were sooo good, cooked in this proper tasty sauce. The salt and pepper prawns were amazing too — honestly I wish there were more of them because they were that nice. The calamari portions were super generous as well, everything came out piping hot and really fast which we loved. The mains came out straight after, no waiting around at all. I had the crispy duck with tamarind sauce and it was hands down the yummiest duck I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy, full of flavour, and the portion was more than generous. Such good value for money. My friend had the Panang curry and it was really rich and flavourful too. We were also given very generously TWO complimentary desserts which was this lemon and ginger cheesecake, and it was sooo nice. Such a lovely surprise and honestly just topped the whole meal off. Big shout out to our waiter Gabby — he was so friendly, welcoming, and on point from start to finish. Service was super fast, he cleared the table quickly, brought food out straight away, and really made our experience special. He even served us two complimentary desserts which was beyond generous. This is genuinely the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Birmingham. Food, service, vibes — everything was a 10/10. I’d recommend this place to everyone and I honestly can’t wait to come back soon 🫶🏽

The ambience is gorgeous and I love the Thai food here. The pineapple and raisin fried rice is a personal favourite and thank you to the waitress for giving us a variety of different sauces to try along with it when we requested for some plum sauce, it’s lovely that staff will go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Some of the steak was a little bit too chewy but I guess it is steak. And I expected the crab meat to be a bit softer. The Tiki coconut drink was lovely and sweet. The piña colada wasn’t great, it had a bit too much foam and was quite watery. Overall I would come back as the dishes and the ambience made for a lovely evening dinner with family.

We have been here a few times, though we are not regulars. Previously everything was pretty good, hence we returned. However on this occasion it was different. First the good bit. The staff were very good, attentive, engaging and polite. All good. But the food was really not that good and certainly poor value for the cost. I cannot imagine any of the starters were made on site. It was basically like the party food boxes you get from a supermarket. That may be OK. But not for the price charged. On to mains, the curry dishes were regraded as pretty good. However, the 'stir fry' dish I had was not what I would think of as a stir fry - well prepared and crisp ingredients brought together for an interesting variety of flavours. This was more like a vegetable stew with some chicken in it. Sorry to be negative, but our previous (good) experience was simply not replicated last Sunday.... As I mentioned though, none of this was about the staff - they were all great....

Siamais offers a perfect blend of vibrant Thai flavors and stylish ambiance. The food is beautifully presented, with standout dishes like the Pad Thai and Green Curry. My first time here. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and music. Attentive staff and a great recommendation of the King Prawns in Tom Yum sauce. The prawns were perfectly cooked and sauce was very tasty. Recommended as a place for Thai.

Went here for food on a Sunday afternoon, was fairly quiet at this time but service from out host was very good. Food was very tasty and presented very well, their was a lot of different options on the menu as well. The brunch here doesn't offer much in terms of cocktails so I wouldn't suggest this. But this is a lovely setting to go to as a nice date night with a partner & is located near a load of nice bars in Brindley place. The only real problem was it was pretty pricey but that is birmingham I suppose. Definitely recommend this place.

I received prompt and professional service from Pedro and was seated immediately. The service and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered red duck curry, pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken, and green beef curry. All dishes exceeded expectations. Pedro was amazing

Great vibe at this lovely Thai restaurant. Ashanti has been really attentive and as it’s to celebrate my friend’s birthday, they offered us a nice shot on the house. Loved my crab cakes and mango salad. Will visit again for its cocktails !

The aesthetics look good. Was quiet when went in but didn’t mind it as it was lunch. The food was okay but the sauces where the star if show. I’m particular about noodles, they were good but not my cup of tea as more of a thick noodle type but that’s on me as thought try thinner noodles.

We recently dined at Siamais restaurant and had a truly wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was vibrant and stylish, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. A special mention goes to our waiter, Pedro, who made our visit even more memorable. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful when it came to recommending dishes and drinks. His warm personality and excellent service added so much to our overall experience. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended!
