I’d love to give a great review but I can’t. We are a couple who love to do date nights and do many popular restaurants in Birmingham including Michelin star restaurants. We booked 24 stories as it used to be Orelle and wanted to come back now it’s 24 stories. Our table was booked for 7.30pm. We arrived at 7.25pm, we were greeted on the ground floor and told our table was running late and would we mind sitting at the bar. We sat at the bar happily. At 8pm we were told as it’s a busy Saturday it was running late. At 8.10pm we were told we could go upto level 24. On arrival at level 24 we had our coats taken and told our table would be a few minutes. At 8.30pm we had enough along with other people who decided to leave and we left. Very disappointing and I will not be recommending to followers.

Oh what a night!!! Stories 24 have outdone themselves. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt so special. The venue is sensational, not only the views of Birmingham but inside the soft suede couches, the stunning flowers, the way the restaurant and bar are laid out, the lighting - every touch added to the ambience Our Server Kabir was extremely knowledgeable, patient and so kind. We went to celebrate my daughter’s 21st and all i can say was i will never forget this wonderful staff. Thank you Stories 24 Birmingham

Really enjoyed my visit to 24 Stories. The food was great, the interior is really stylish, and the views over Birmingham are definitely a highlight. A special mention to Min at reception, who was really friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. She was lovely and really added to the experience. Overall, a great place for good food, a nice atmosphere and some amazing views. Would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely experience at 24 Stories in Birmingham, in the Tavern area. The atmosphere was great, and the setting made it a really enjoyable visit. A special mention goes to our waiter, Min, who was absolutely fantastic! She was friendly, attentive and provided excellent service throughout. She really helped make our experience even more enjoyable, and her efforts definitely deserve recognition. Thank you, Min, for making our visit so memorable. We would happily recommend 24 Stories and look forward to visiting again!

We visited 24 Stories for a 26th birthday celebration and, unfortunately, the service was appalling. Our waiter was rude, abrupt and appeared to regard basic courtesy as an inconvenience. When guests are consistently saying “please” and “thank you”, a polite response is hardly an unreasonable expectation. We ordered steaks and requested peppercorn sauce, only to be served gravy on two separate occasions. When it came to settling the bill, one member of staff confirmed that paying cash was perfectly acceptable, while another then informed us that the restaurant was cashless. The lack of communication was as frustrating as the service itself. The views and atmospheric lighting may create an impression of luxury, but the experience fell considerably short. A beautiful setting cannot compensate for making guests feel unwelcome, particularly during a special celebration. I would neither return nor recommend it. Courtesy costs nothing, and at a restaurant presenting itself to this standard, it should be a given.

I visit 24 Stories several days a week, and normally everything is fine. Unfortunately, my experience on Sunday, 18 October, was disappointing because of the man with glasses working at the door. I arrived at 20:43 and was told that last entry was at 20:30. The door staff member explained that this was what the upstairs team had told him. I understand he may have been following instructions, but I couldn’t find this restriction listed in the venue’s published Sunday opening hours. What I found unacceptable was the way he spoke to me. He called me “mate” in a rude and dismissive manner and, when I questioned the refusal, told me to “take it up with management.” Even when enforcing a policy, staff should treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. I regularly visit 24 Stories and normally have a good experience. This was a disappointing exception. I hope management clarifies the Sunday last-entry policy and addresses the way customers are spoken to at the door.

Had a great meal at 24 Stories Birmingham. The steak was really well seasoned and cooked pretty much how I like it, although I asked for medium-rare and felt it was borderline medium. The parsnips were sweet and full of flavour, while the mash was soft, smooth and fluffy — exactly how I like it. The crème brûlée was the highlight for me. It was my first time trying it and I absolutely loved it. Definitely a dessert I’d have again! The staff were professional and the service was great throughout. Overall, I’d highly recommend 24 Stories if you’re looking for a classy meal with a stylish atmosphere. Overall: 8.5/10 👌

I had a really lovely experience at 24 Stories. The overall standard of the restaurant was amazing, from the way everything was set up to the atmosphere and, of course, the views. I especially loved how the restaurant was styled, it felt sophisticated and well put together. I would definitely visit again, especially in the evening when I imagine the atmosphere and views would be even better. The food was really, really good. The parsnips were one of my favourites, I absolutely loved them. The tomato salad was good, but not quite as impressive for me. I would have preferred the tomatoes to be cut differently so they were easier to eat, and I also felt there could have been more of the dish. I wasn't a huge fan of the fruit that came with the tomatoes either; personally, I didn't feel like it worked with the dish. I ordered my steak medium-rare, but unfortunately it came out closer to medium. It wasn't as pink as I personally like my steak, so that was a little disappointing. Apart from that, the food was up to the standard I expected. The wine was spectacular, and the sourdough bread with the wine was amazing, definitely one of those simple combinations that just works. For dessert, I had the chocolate fondant, which was sooo good. My only criticism was the ice cream. I have sensitive teeth, and I could tell the ice cream had come straight from the freezer because it wasn't as smooth and soft as I would have liked. It made it slightly uncomfortable to eat alongside the dessert. Overall, 24 Stories definitely lived up to the standard I expected. There were a few small things that could have been better, but nothing that would stop me from returning. The food, wine, views, setting and overall experience were fantastic.

The ambience at 24 Stories is lovely — vibrant, stylish and with a great atmosphere. The food was also tasty and we really enjoyed what we ordered. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly marred by how rushed we felt towards the end of our meal. We were told that we needed to leave because the table was required, which meant we didn’t get the opportunity to order dessert. What was particularly confusing was that some guests who had arrived before us didn’t appear to be asked to leave, so we weren’t quite sure why this was the case. We were also trying to take a few pictures, but were told that flashlights weren’t allowed. Shortly afterwards, a birthday party taking place behind us began taking pictures using the cute selfie lights, and no one seemed to say anything to them. This felt a little inconsistent and did take away from the experience. Overall, the venue itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is vibrant and the food was good, but I think there could be more consistency and consideration when it comes to table timings and enforcing the same rules for all guests.

I booked 24 stories to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Initially, there was a problem before even getting up to the restaurant as the lady was adamant on seeing ID; both of us had forgotten our ID so we had to leave to get them and return (if it was clearer that there is a challenge 25 policy we would have brought ID, but I had been once prior purely for drinks and than was not asked of me then) but returning was definitely the right decision. We were attended to by Michela, who went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable the entirety of our night out. We had the sourdough bread which was fresh, warm, and paired extremely well with the butter. I had the fillet steak which was cooked to my liking and my boyfriend was very happy with his. The ice cream was okay; probably would have went with another flavour instead of chocolate, but that was entirely personal preference! The mango sorbet and happy birthday message from Michela made our night very special, and she was very attentive with making sure our drinks were topped up, and that the food was to our taste. We would 100% return & recommend due to service- and of course the view was amazing. Thank you once again to Michela and the rest of the staff for the lovely meal.

The atmosphere was amazing and the food was okay too but the service was ridiculous. The staff there were extremely judgemental and full of attitude. That walked around rolling thier eyes and just giving unnecessary attitude. It was a birthday dinner but we were very uncomfortable by the staff, we truly did expect something much better from a place like this. Towards the end when we asked for the bill we wanted the service charges removed because clearly we were not pleased with the service the staff made us wait 20 min until we had to go up to them and ask them again and even then two of the waitresses kept rolling thier eyes and whispering about that it was the worst experience never visiting here again

Great experience at 24 Stories. Stunning views (I mean it's Birmingham under construction so don't get to excited!) but nice ambience, decor and food. Menu pitched just right, great Sunday roast, and nice range of cocktails. Recommend the smoking Paloma, lemon drop and chasing dreams! Shout out to Josh who gave excellent service and the real deal when it comes to menu choices. A little chilly so keep your jacket with you!

Came here yesterday and I can say happily that this place was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. On arrival I was expecting a warm welcome with smiles across faces but nope, I got miserable faces that didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere was as terrible as seeing ZA on MVP’s cam. Food was edible but the steak was quite bland. I asked the waiter what the sauces taste like and he didn’t have any idea himself. Thought it was his first time working there so I didn’t say anything. The wait for the food was incredibly long and made my friend Kuso finish her salad before my platter even arrived. Ruined my 21st birthday. Me and my friends went around evening time , firstly the security was rude I even said bye politely and got zero response. As we entered I told the lady at reception my details and I clearly mentioned on the notes it’s for my birthday and I got nothing and she was walking too fast plus messy seating. We ordered steak he said “what sauce with it” and I asked him what they taste like he didn’t know himself. By the way £6.50 for a small shit sauce had no garlic taste. The steak was plain no salt even, tasted like cardboard. Service charge was £20 but definitely not deserved as my friend was trying to order and the waiter walked off mid conversation. Plus it’s just steak by itself. The music was just the same beat and very loud even the bathroom wasn’t nice. And at the end the server didn’t know how to split the bill we told him and he still got it wrong. We also waited for the menu 30 mins and for drinks 30 and food over 1h . Honestly very disappointing. Not satisfied at all

My partner brought me here on 25th September for our 2 year anniversary. I was really looking forward to eating at 24 Stories as I’d heard great things from my partner who’s eaten here in the past. However, we encountered nothing but problems and appalling service from the staff here. For starters, my partner ordered the steak tartar and I ordered the sourdough bread with French butter. It took about 5 minutes from the steak tartar arriving at the table to my sourdough bread arriving, so we wasn’t off to a great start. My partner then requested some sea salt flakes to sprinkle atop his steak tartar, but it took about 10 minutes of staff bringing out the wrong types of salt before getting it right. For mains, my partner and I both opted for the lamb. My partner asked for his lamb to be pink, but it came out well done, so he asked for a manager and sent it back to the kitchen before agreeing with said manager to get the food and drinks taken off the bill. I continued eating my lamb while my partner sat with no food. A few minutes later, another manager approached the table and began to antagonise my partner. I have never been so shocked and appalled in all my life. This manager began accusing my partner of taking frequent trips to the toilet to take drugs (my partner and I didn’t leave our table once) and of being a “serial complainer” for raising issues about the poor level of service. My partner was understandably upset by these remarks and we were asked to leave the establishment. Management handled this with absolutely no professionalism and fabricated outrageous lies as an excuse to bar my partner for complaining about legitimate issues. Absolutely disgusting service.

We used to love this place when it was Orelle, so I was expecting the same high standard. Unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed. The food quality and service have really gone downhill. Even the birthday dessert felt more like something from a cheap pub, and £12 for a bottle of water was quite shocking. The views and the sky-bar setting are beautiful, but unfortunately they can’t maintain the standard anymore. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here.

Beautiful setting, but disappointing overall experience There are certainly some positives to 24 Stories. We were running around 15 minutes late for our reservation, and the restaurant kindly held our table, which was appreciated. The views of Birmingham from the 24th floor are genuinely spectacular, and the interior decor is equally impressive. The individual members of staff we interacted with were also friendly, polite and pleasant throughout the evening. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience fell short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this standard. We ordered sourdough to start, but the bread arrived stale, extremely hard and difficult to eat. We asked for it to be replaced, which was done, but the replacement took approximately 20 minutes to arrive. The waiter kindly advised us that the bread would be removed from the bill, but when the bill arrived, this had not been done and we had to bring it to their attention. The main courses were another issue. We waited approximately 45–50 minutes for our food and eventually had to ask a member of staff for an update. The staff apologised and offered us complimentary drinks as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, these were also initially included on the bill, meaning we once again had to ask for the bill to be corrected. In terms of the food itself, we found it quite underwhelming considering the prices. It wasn't bad, but it was simply okay and didn't have the flavour or quality we expected for the amount we were paying. At this price point, I would expect the food to be a much more memorable part of the experience. The menu design was also quite difficult to read. It was presented in a 3D-style format, and the text appeared almost doubled or blurred when trying to read it. I actually asked the waiter whether I had been given the wrong menu or whether it was an issue with my eyesight, only to be told that this was simply how the menu had been designed. While the concept may be intended to look modern and creative, I found it unnecessarily difficult to read and would have preferred a clearer, more accessible format. The seating arrangement also detracted from the evening. As a party of two, we were seated at a small table immediately next to the bar. While we were eating, other customers were standing directly beside and over our table, which made the dining experience feel rather uncomfortable. We asked whether we could be moved, and although the table was moved slightly, it was only by around five inches, so unfortunately this didn't make much difference. What made the experience particularly frustrating is that the individual waiters were genuinely friendly and courteous. It seemed more like an issue with the overall pace and organisation of the service rather than the attitude of the staff themselves. Ultimately, 24 Stories has an exceptional setting, incredible views and beautiful decor, but the service and food on our visit didn't match the standard or price point. The long wait for food, the delay with the replacement bread, the difficult-to-read menu, the uncomfortable seating and the repeated issues with the bill all took away from what could otherwise have been a really enjoyable evening. The views and atmosphere are definitely impressive, but based on our visit, the food and service didn't justify the price we paid. I hope this was simply an off evening, because the restaurant certainly has the setting and potential to deliver a much better overall experience.

Great views being on the 24th floor, and I thought what a better way to celebrate my birthday than a lovely view with a nice lunch. We had the worst and worst of staff experience here. I don’t know if we didn’t look important enough like business people or if there was any reason we were treated differently and so horrible. The two waiters that attended to us were so unpleasant. It’s my birthday and my friend said to the server, “It’s my friend’s birthday today” with a big enthusiastic smile. He said “okay” with almost a disgusted look. I thought maybe he’s just having a busy day. We ordered two drinks to start with, my friend’s drink tasted bad while mine was nice. I complained and he said “well, I don’t know, they’re the same thing from the same batch. I’ll ask the bartender”. No apologies, no empathy. We asked for the bill because at this point, my birthday was getting ruined and I didn’t want the sour day to continue. I started complaining again to the staff taking the payment at the bar. He said the most absent “sorry madam”, put the payment device in front of me and just went back to continue his work. No eye contact, no sincere apology, he didn’t even finish listening to my complain. Anyway for anyone visiting 24 stories, nice view, bad staff. If there is a review lower than one star, that is what they deserve. We of course asked to remove the service charge, they didn’t deserve any more of our money, and we went elsewhere to have the most amazing birthday.

Went to 24 Stories at around 10pm for drinks and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. The person at the door was extremely rude. We weren’t even greeted, we were simply told that it was closed, before the door was shut and locked in front of us. The whole interaction was incredibly unwelcoming and completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice evening. I called a day after to make a complaint and was told by the lady on the phone that the venue was in fact not closed at that time, which made the way we were treated even more frustrating. I was promised a call back from a manager, so I’m still waiting to see how this is addressed. When you’re visiting a venue like this, you expect a certain standard of service, professionalism and friendly hospitality. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking on this occasion. Very disappointing experience and, based on this, I wouldn’t choose to visit 24 Stories again.

You are just paying for the view me and partner went for a nice meal for our 1 year anniversary and we had about 4 different served girls behind us being loud and taking photos with a camera on full flash and on FaceTime to each other, my partner and me had to go up to the bar to ask for a pudding menu and again to pay for the bill and at the end we had a couple of gift cards to use and waitress refused to use more than two overall very disappointing experience won’t come again for food

Special occasion venue, great views across the city. The fixed price lunch was good value and dishes were all nice (although the steak came with no accompaniments which could have been made clearer!), was a little disappointed in the service, the waitress allocated to our table was sullen and positively unfriendly, definitely needs some customer experience training, the main hostess was welcoming on arrival and maitre d' was decent though but with a service charge of £30 added you want excellent service all around. It is a wow factor place and with a few tweaks to service would be a 5/5.

Visited here the day of the eclipse, so perhaps my experience wasn't the norm, but it was very busy and the service was somewhat lacklustre. This main dining area has strange acoustics so it felt very loud to the point that it was difficult to hold a comfortable conversation. My partner and I both ordered steaks, and the presentation was as basic as it can be, they weren't even dressed with garnish or a side salad. After dining, the server did not return for a courtesy check or to see if we would like to order desserts. I had to approach the host point to request the bill so we could leave. The bill was presented as £142, but the server mistakenly entered £412 on the card machine. In his defense, the server noticed the error pretty quickly and refunded me the £270 difference, but it took 5 days for the refund to appear in my account. One of the managers offered a bottle of wine on my next visit by way of compensation for the inconvenience, but this offer was made verbally rather than in writing or by email, so I am unlikely to capitalise on it. Edit: I have lowered my score due to the awful follow up by the management team, who made next to no effort to address the concerns I have raised. I had received a generic response that failed to acknowledge my main grievance, instead focusing on lesser points, which felt like the central issue was being side stepped. When I called this out in another detailed written response, the manager claimed that he was new to the role and asked me to phone him to further discuss the matter. I felt that this was unnecessary since all the relevant information had already been conveyed, and I am simply not interested to continue jumping through arbitrary hoops. I would prefer to use this opportunity to warn other guests of my experience than to try to win some kind of goodwill gesture.

Amazing view and we were there mainly for drinks, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. As it was my first visit, I expected the staff to be more welcoming, but they came across as very cold and unfriendly. Watching the skyline transform from daylight into the evening, with the city lights gradually coming to life, made the whole experience even more special. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, showing real attention to detail and quality. The menu offers a fantastic selection, and each plate felt thoughtfully crafted rather than just another meal. The presentation, taste and creativity really stood out. The drinks selection was equally impressive, with plenty of great options that complemented the food perfectly. Everything about the evening felt carefully put together, from the food and drinks to the service and overall atmosphere. A special mention has to go to the staff, who were welcoming, professional and attentive throughout the evening. They struck the perfect balance between providing excellent service and making us feel completely relaxed. One thing that made the evening even more memorable was that I took a bit of a gamble by booking a late-night table and bringing along my two little ones, aged three and one. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they absolutely loved it. They were warmly welcomed by both the staff and the other guests, with plenty of smiles and kind interactions that made us all feel comfortable. The music was spot on, the DJ created an amazing atmosphere, and seeing my children enjoying themselves while taking in the energy of the place made the night even more special. It turned into one of those wonderfully unexpected family evenings that we’ll remember for a long time. 24 Stories is somewhere I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for exceptional food, breathtaking views and a premium dining experience in Birmingham. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself to a fantastic evening out, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

This feels like a place built more for Instagram, which is fine, but not my thing. People had their phones out at almost every table. Again, fine, but I hated it. The AC was broken so the place was boiling. These things happen and they did email us to warn us and said we could cancel. However, with this in mind, iced water could have been constantly refilled. It was not. We started with cocktails, bread and olives. They were out of oysters (we wanted some) and caviar (we didn't want any). They forgot our olives, but still tried to charge us for them. They didn't pace the meal well. Before we had finished the bread and cocktails, our mains were served. We'd already ordered wine to come with the mains. That came about 10-15 mins later. My rare steak was actually medium. We did have dessert, which was fine. But it took us forever to get the attention of the serving staff to get the bill and it was not a particularly busy night (it was a Tuesday). The panoramic views really don't make up for the poor food and service. I don't think I'll be going back.

Beautiful views and very nice atmosphere. The set meal is excellent value. We were there pre-theatre matinee so timing mattered. Service was speedy but calm and our server friendly Michela kept our glasses topped up as we treated ourselves to bottomless bubbles which was fun. Highly recommend.

Overall a pleasant meal, just somewhat overpriced. Can't say I'd go back or recommend as I feel there are better restaurants at this price point in Birmingham.

Don't bother turning up just for drinks. I was taking my wife there for her birthday. We wanted to experience the venue with the thought of booking a table for future celebrations. We were told that its not possible to enter...even though the bar was visibly empty! We will not be returning as there are many venues that will accommodate us!

Beautiful Setting, Completely Ruined by the Staff I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience at 24 Stories Birmingham, I feel people should know what to expect. The venue itself is stunning and has so much potential, which makes it even more disappointing that it is completely let down by its staff. This wasn’t just one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had. It was, without question, the worst. From the moment we were seated, the service was inattentive and unprofessional. If the staff genuinely don’t enjoy working in hospitality, they should reconsider whether it’s the right industry for them. I’ve honestly received better customer service in Nando’s and even McDonald’s, where staff are far more attentive, respectful and welcoming. All four of us ordered medium-rare steaks, yet every single one was so tough that none of us could cut them properly. My friend politely asked for another knife, explaining that hers was too dull. The waiter (the short Asian male) immediately responded, “They’re all the same.” When she explained again that she physically couldn’t cut her steak, he rolled his eyes before reluctantly returning with another knife. Instead of handing it to her, he threw it into her hand. I’ve never experienced behaviour like that from a member of restaurant staff. Once our plates had been cleared, we declined dessert and asked for the bill. We then waited over 20–30 minutes before anyone brought it over, and only because my friend got up and asked for it herself. After the bill arrived, we waited another 20–30 minutes for someone to bring the card machine. Once again, my friend had to walk over to the till to ask if we could pay. The waitress then responded with, “Well, am I supposed to come to your table?” In a full-service restaurant, the answer is quite simply yes. By that point, we were completely fed up and just wanted to leave. I almost never remove a service charge because I appreciate good hospitality. However, in this case, I couldn’t justify paying for a service that was barely provided. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet we were left waiting excessive amounts of time for the simplest requests. Meanwhile, tables that arrived after us were served, finished their meals, paid and left before we had even received the opportunity to pay. It genuinely felt like the staff were picking and choosing who they wanted to serve. When we were asked how the food was, we were honest and said it wasn’t great. Surprisingly, there wasn’t even a follow-up question asking why. There seemed to be no interest whatsoever in customer feedback or improving the experience. It’s such a shame because the restaurant itself is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and it has everything going for it. Unfortunately, the attitude, lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customers completely overshadow anything positive about the venue. As a food and content reviewer, I will be sharing this experience with my followers because this level of hospitality simply isn’t acceptable. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of who they are. I won’t be returning, and I certainly won’t be recommending 24 Stories Birmingham to anyone. The restaurant has so much potential, but until the management addresses the behaviour and standards of its staff, it will continue to disappoint. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I absolutely would, but unfortunately that’s not an option, so 1 star it is.

The booking process was very seamless and the staff here are so attentive and wonderful. The food met exceeded my expectations - we had a Sunday Roast, perfectly cooked and presented! Great value for money too. There are small details that made it so memorable to me like the Penhaligons hand wash and lotion in the bathrooms, as well as having the best bottled water I have ever tried. The view over the city is lovely and I will definitely be returning.

We were here yesterday for my friends birthday as a group of 7. We were sat in this amazing booth with a great view of the sunset and of the rest of the restaurant. Wine list was great and the cocktails were amazing. They also took great care of one of the guests with an allergen. Personally i had the oysters which were amazing and the lobster left me speechless. The table enjoyed the gnocchi, steaks and asparagus starters too. Gigi and Klaudja were our servers and we couldn’t have been happier with their service. Extra shoutout to Gigi for being so charismatic! We loved her! Definitely will be coming back!

🌆 Amazing Views, Disappointing Food 🍽️ Visited recently and while the location is definitely a highlight, set high up with stunning views over Birmingham 🌇the overall dining experience was a bit underwhelming. The portions were quite small for the price 💸, and unfortunately the flavours just didn’t hit the mark for me 😕. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and welcoming 😊. However, it feels more like a sit-down restaurant than a casual bar. There’s limited space to stand or grab a quick drink 🍸, and unless you’ve pre-booked, it’s not the easiest place to just walk into 🚫. Personally, I’d come back for drinks and the view 🍹✨, but not for the food. There are definitely better spots in Birmingham for tastier meals at a more reasonable price 👍.

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, everything just felt easy and welcoming. Our coats were taken straight away and we were offered drinks almost instantly, which set the tone for the rest of the night. The staff were so polite and attentive without ever being over the top – they checked in at the right times and made sure everything was perfect for each course. The food itself was incredible. Every dish looked amazing and tasted even better. The steak was cooked exactly how it should be – really tender and full of flavour – and the starters and small plates were just as impressive. You can tell a lot of care goes in into what they’re serving. Even the dessert was spot on and a really nice way to finish the meal. Overall just a genuinely great experience. Brilliant food, lovely atmosphere, and service that was spot on the whole way through. Would happily go back again.

Beautiful decor, 24 stories above Birmingham, amazing views. Food was delicious and definitely worth it on the celebration menu. Unfortunately we wasn't given our complimentary glass of Chandon. (I forgot about it as well) Would like to return at another time as we went late on a Saturday night and was a little bit too noisy. There was a DJ and I guess perfect if your out for Saturday night drinks.

I had the pleasure of attending 24 Stories as part of a corporate celebration for top leaders in the UK, and it was absolutely stunning! The atmosphere is gorgeous, perfect for photos and content for socials. The food was incredible. I’m gluten-free, and they had thoughtful options just for me, plus alcohol-free wine, which is such a lovely touch, you don’t always see that. The service was friendly and professional, making the evening seamless and enjoyable. As someone who runs a business online helping busy women make money from home, it was amazing to celebrate in person with with the team and just celebrate our successes. I can’t recommend 24 Stories enough for any special event, it’s a beautiful space with impeccable attention to detail and the perfect place to celebrate.

We had a lovely meal on the 24th floor! The views were incredible, and the service and decor were excellent—my son enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The portions were great for an adult, too. While the fish was a little on the salty side, the desserts were a total win. The Crème Brûlée was a standout; I loved that the sugar top was fired just long enough to create a dark, crackly, and slightly smoky caramel crust. We’ll definitely be back for the view and the sweets!

We spent an evening at 24 Stories (formerly Orelles) for the other half's birthday and had a wonderful time at this venue. As it was a birthday celebration we wanted to go somewhere 'special' and 24 Stories didn't disappoint. Wifey walked out of the lift (as the restaurant is on the 24th floor, hence the name) and was greeted by Min (our lovely host) with a fabulous bouquet of flowers and a wide smile! Min then proceeded to take us to our table which was situated in the main restaurant by the window with fantastic views of the Birmingham skyline. The sight actually got better as it got darker as the lights from the buildings start to illuminate the night! After being seated, we got menus and ordered cocktails before selecting our starters of pulled beef chin croquettes and prawns. For the main course we had pork cutlet and half a lobster. All of which were served nice and hot and in a professional and courteous manner. The service we received on the night was truly outstanding and we had a great time! Wine wise, as it was a celebration, we ordered some bubbly which was served perfectly chilled and tasted great! The 24 Stories team also arranged a small birthday treat for the wife at the end of the meal. All of which made the occasion that little more special! Finally to end the night off, Min arranged for us to have seats in the bar area at the front of the restaurant where we just chilled after the meal over more drinks again looking out onto the City centre night scene. All in all, we had a wonderful time at 24 Stories and we want to thank all of the staff there who took care of us. Special 'shout out' to Min for going over and beyond for us. We really appreciated it!

Tried this beautiful restaurant for brunch to celebrate my birthday….. absolutely gorgeous. Service was amazing…. A special Thank you to Marco & Lawrence . Food was so tasty, bubbles kept flowing and we had a table with a great view of our city even on a misty day. A wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion! One of the best places in Birmingham for an elegant bottomless brunch

I dined with the graduation set menu, which had a complimentary glass of prosecco. The set 3 course menu selection was small but had a good variety of options for a very reasonable price. The staff were excellent, warm and welcoming. It is a short elevator travel up to the 24th floor, which is a very open space, airy and has large windows which provides a very atmospheric and calming environment with beautiful views of Birmingham. The food was delicious, with elegant presentation and well balanced flavours. The mushroom tart was delicious and the best mushroom starter I've had, the main course I had was the chicken, which was on the drier side but had a lovely thin gravy and creamy mash which balanced the dish very well. The creme brulee was also absolutely delicious, creamy and a perfectly caramelized and crisp sugar top. It was a very worthwhile experience and I definitely will be returning.

We stopped by for after work drinks. I had a lovely refreshing cocktail and arancini, and enjoyed the weather on the ground floor terrace. The service was absolutely stellar and I would like to say a particular shout out to Charlie who was the waiter/bar tender and looked after us very well. He was extremely professional and hardworking during an evening, which is so rare to find. He was attentive and I want to say props for him for respectfully challenging an absolute tramp of a customer who tried to walk off without paying for his bill. (Stay at home if you don’t want to pay for your drinks!!) 🥴 Scruffbag. Thankfully, the rest of the evening was lovely. But anyway thank you Charlie!

What a beautiful place with the best views of the city! Really enjoyed sipping a cocktail watching out the windows. Michela was our waitress for the majority of the evening and she was fantastic, it was such a pleasant, quiet evening. Friday night date. Food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect for a Friday with the restaurant almost full and the DJ providing perfect music for the evening. We had a full three courses and choose the steak to share. Prices are not cheap but value for money when all things considered. Will return in the future for a special occasion.

Had an incredible birthday lunch at Orelle today. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed and the views over Birmingham were fantastic. We opted for the fixed price menu which was extremely reasonable for the quality of food over the 3 courses. Would definitely go again!!!

Customer service was poor and cold. A couple of the waiters were really nice however the receptionist and manager came across really cold and rude. Only one of the 3 starters tasted good and I’d reorder and just one of our 2 mains were good. The lobster dish was so bad overall and chewy. I was really looking forward to enjoying this place as the venue was great and fancy for a special event but the food and service (except waiters) was disappointing. Would like to see something change.
