Higher Ground is an independent British restaurant in Faulkner House on New York Street in Manchester city centre. It is a seasonal bistro where the menu changes daily, built around produce grown mainly at Cinderwood Market Garden in Cheshire, whole-animal butchery, hand-rolled pasta and fish and seafood cooked over coal.

Because the menu changes every day, no two visits are quite the same, but recent dishes show the style. Hand-cut wholewheat pasta comes with Dexter beef shin and ramson, and Lyme Park venison is served with heritage grains, oyster mushroom and cavolo nero.
